My goal this year was to read 24 books (2 a month) and I ended up reading 30 books! This year brought the most diverse genre selections yet. I definitely branched out of my typical realistic fiction/chick lit comfort zone. This year’s reads included mythology, fantasy, romance, classics, and historical fiction to name a few.

  • American Royals series
    • Think realistic fiction set in present day about George Washington’s descendants if he had been king instead of president
  • The Idea of You
    • A mom takes her daughter to a boy band concert and falls in love with the lead singer ~based on Harry Styles~
  • A Court of Silver Flames
    • IYKYK
  • Bridgerton series
    • I loved the TV show and the books did NOT disappoint! They were quick, fun reads
  • Ariadne
    • An engrossing POV on the story of Theseus and the Minotaur
  • Off-Campus series
    • Super quick romance reads with characters that are easy to fall in love with
